Can I use the library if I am a student from another university?

Answer

Regent's is a member of the SCONUL scheme.

What is SCONUL?

SCONUL Access is a scheme which allows many university library users to borrow or use books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme. The scheme covers most of the university libraries in the UK and Ireland. More information can be found on SCONUL's website here.

Members of Regent's University Library

You can access other university libraries if you are:

  • a member of staff (both academic and support staff) on an open or fixed term contract
  • a postgraduate student

You can apply for SCONUL access here by completing a form. This will then be sent to the university librarian for approval and you will receive a letter confirming you are allowed access. Please check with the library you wish to visit to check any restrictions they have on visiting.

Visitors to Regent's University London

In order to visit Regent's University Library you must have a letter of approval from your home institution. You must call ahead to inform reception that you are coming so they can arrange access to the campus and bring your letter of approval.
